Description
Spelt is a species of wheat arising from natural hybridisation that occurred centuries ago.
WHITE SPELT FLOUR has had most of the bran and germ removed, giving a ‘lighter’ touch, ideal for pastries, biscuits and cakes. It can be used to replace white flour in most baking recipes, giving a sweet nutty flavour. It’s popular for its nutritional value – with dietary fibre and good levels of protein.
